Repairing Blow Drying Damage

If you've been blow-drying your hair for years, you may not have noticed that your hair is slowly drying out and becoming a little more brittle after each time.

You can first start to heal your over-blown locks by switching to a kinder, gentler blow dryer. Super Solano Hair Dryer and CHI Turbo Hair Dryers are both great choices that will allow you to blow dry your hair without over drying or over heating. Older model and knock off brand hair dryers can get extremely hot and results in severe hair damage. If your hair shaft is overheated, the inside of the hair shaft will actually boil within and you will be left with bubbles within the shaft. Your hair will begin breaking and Mother Nature will begin giving you the world's worst haircut though random hair breakage.

One thing you can do along with getting a better hair dryer is to only dry your hair to the point it is lightly damp. If you prefer to style your hair while you are blow-drying your hair, Sebastion Shaper Hair Spray with it's brushable styling formula is a great way to style your hair while you are blow-drying. If you don't like your style, simply brush through and restyle. Another great product for blow dryer styling of your hair is the Pureology Pure Volume Amplifier. This amazing product will add a ton of volume to your hair.

A good conditioner you can use is the ARTec Kiwi Blow Silk. It is designed to increase your ease of brushing when your hair is wet and you're about to begin blow-drying. It will smooth and moisturize hair that is stressed from a little too much blow-drying.
