Getting Pretty Quick: Zoomin' Into Glamour

You've come to exactly the right place if what you want are products to help you get your most glamorous, fast. Zoom into glamour with products that are all available right here at Sleekhair.

For starters, give your mane a perfectly clean beginning with Alterna Hemp Seed Hydrating Shampoo for Dry/Damaged Hair, followed by a five-minute application of Alterna Hemp Hydrate Conditioner. While your hair is conditioning, shave your legs using a dab of the Hemp Conditioner as shave cream-try it, your legs will love it.

While you're waiting for the mirror to defog, towel off before applying an all-over body spray of Sex Symbol Aerotan Instant Temporary Tanning Spray. Put your hair up in a towel, turban-style to keep it out of the way. Shake your tanning spray well (and often) and apply in a circular motion, always holding the can an even distance from skin.

Allow tanning spray to dry completely before dressing. It won't take long-- about enough time to paint your toenails a new color and, as soon as your face is dry, you can start doing your makeup. Start by applying Taberco Plump + Polish "Collagen Booster" Lip Treatment. Softens and smoothes lips right away and with repeated use your lips will be noticeably plumper.

Glamour is, of course, going beyond your usual daytime look. Aim for the stars and use Sleekhair.com products to achieve them. Go ahead and experiment with a darker eyeliner, a brighter shadow, a redder lipstick. Especially with your one-night Aerotan which makes every look more stunning. Go for it tonight and don't be afraid of color.

Once your makeup's done, use ARTec Kiwi Blow Up Volume to add that extra 'oomph!'. Shake your head and the can and spritz on a generous amount. If the look is curly, go ahead and splurge on the TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier to get that wild mane of a lioness. Grrrrreat!

Sales Galore: Shop Your Brains Out

If you get to the clearance pages at Sleekhair.com, you're going to be amazed at the incredible bargains they're offering! Right now they're offering Murad skin care products at unbelievably low prices and items from the Bed Head hair care line at the lowest prices this writer has ever seen. TIGI products are always playful as well as effective; finding them at these prices is such a cool surprise.

If you ever wanted to try a lip enhancer such as Taberco Plump + Polish "Collagen Booster" Lip Treatment , this is the time and place to do it. With the on-sale price of only $9.99 you can't go wrong. Instructions say to wear this 'Collagen Booster' either over or under your regular lipstick or in place of it altogether. They say that almost all women who tried it had some kind of lip enhancement, but don't expect Jolie lips overnight. You're supposed to apply this often and use it every day and night for weeks before you will notice dramatic results. If you find no results at all, return it to Sleekhair.com for comparable store credit.

Another product that this writer sees on the sale pages right now is the MOP (Modern Organic Products) Glisten Shine Drops for your hair. Formulated with extracts of organically grown oatstraw and aloe, Glisten Shine Drops add luster and flecks of diamond-like sparkle to your tresses. These drops also add a fine, silken texture to your hair. Lovely effects.

Probably the most impressive item I saw listed in the clearance page here is the White Truffle Luxury Shampoo and Conditioner. Truly luxuriant, Alterna combined their patented enzymetherapy® with organically-grown herbs and other botanicals. The White Truffle hair care line utilized exotic White Truffle oil to build your hair's strength and manageability. Always a value, obtaining Alterna's White Truffle Luxury items from a clearance page is almost too good to be true.

Bronzed in Winter: Brown is Beautiful

Oh, the glorious suntan you had over the Summer! All bronzed and shimmering, that tan made everything you wore a little lovelier. Makeup didn't take as long-- just a flick of mascara, a dab of lip gloss and whoosh you're out the door.

Winter is special in and of itself, but unless you frequent the ski slopes, chances are you won't be sporting a fabulous suntan. There may be times when you wish you had one, though-- even, or maybe especially, in the chill of Winter.

Sleekhair.com suggests two nice self-tanners. Sebastian Trucco Exotica Body Bronzer comes in a generous tube. Applied in a circular motion, it dries in about ten minutes. Sebastian's also has a bit of shimmer to it, which adds to the exotic, glamorous look. Another self-tanner, Sex Symbol Aerotan Instant Temporary Tanning Spray, is the easiest of the two to apply.

When you use Sex Symbol Aerotan Instant Temporary Tanning Spray, there are a couple of key tricks to remember to attain a natural-looking selftan. Always start with clean dry skin that has not had lotion applied in at least 12 hours. Shake product well and often during application. You want to make cure the product ingredients are well-mixed and that the propellant send all the product out the nozzle. Probably the most important key to self-tanning is to hold the applicator an even distance from your skin at all times.

As long as it's well shaken, Sex Symbol Instant will spray even when held at odd angles, making it relatively easy to spray hard-to-reach places such as your back. Your tan shows right away, so you know where you've sprayed and where you haven't. Allow to dry completely before dressing; the product, when wet, can stain certain fabrics so don't chance it-- just wait til it's dry.

Fried and True: Reconstructive Therapy

You love changing your look and use lots of styling appliances. You blow dry, you straighten. You iron and perm it. You've gone and fried your hair, little sister, and it's time you took steps to repair the damage. To that end, Sleekhair.com offers several excellent choices for fixing fried, lifeless hair.

Conditioners are used in conjunction with regular shampoos. They serve their purpose well, that is, controlling the static charges that cause fly-away hair. It's best to not use conditioners every time you shampoo; they build up over time and weigh your hair down.

Eventually the use of styling appliances and products can make your fried and sorry. This can be fixed, at home with affordable products available right here. Every few months, schedule time with yourself to make drastic improvements to your crowning glory. Go beyond conditioner and get a good reconstructor. This is a product that actually repairs damages to the cuticle of your hair. Your hair ends up not only looking much better, the entire texture of it is improved considerably. Your hair feels better.

One of this writer's favorite reconstructors is ABBA Creme-Masque Therapy for Fragile Hair. Chock-full of nutrients specifically formulated for fragile, over processed hair. In my case, years of ocean and sun exposure along with infrequent haircuts have left me with damaged ends. And we're talking about five to six inches of fried hair. Unwilling to cut that much off, I turned to the experts at Sleekhair and was turned onto ABBA's Creme-Masque Therapy for Fragile Hair. This stuff is not for when you're in a hurry. ABBA Creme-Masque Therapy is to be used once-in-a-while and left in for a significant amount of time.

When I use ABBA's Creme-Masque, I apply it, wrap a warm towel around, turban-style and listen to an ABBA record. Both sides if my hair is particularly crispy, one side if it's in relatively good shape. The first time you try the ABBA Creme-Masque, go by the package rules. After a few uses you'll know how long to leave it in. You simply cannot leave it in for 'too long'.

Reconstructors. A step beyond conditioning. Try some today, Dancing Queen.

Do-It-Yourself Makeover: Big Sexy Hair

What? Your best friend's getting married when? Or, YOU are? Even if it's only a Saturday night date-- face it. Events happen. Sometimes a girl just needs a fabulous look, fast. What you want are some effective and affordable hair and skin-care products, an imagination and some time.

Say you have baby-fine hair and desire a voluptuous mane. It can be done-- you've come to exactly the right place to obtain just what you need to get big, sexy hair. In fact, there's a product called Big Sexy Hair and it delivers just what it says. Fortified with wheat proteins that 'stick' to each strand of hair, increasing fullness and body, Big Sexy doesn't make your hair feel funky at all-- just fatter and fuller.

Once you've washed your hair with Big Sexy Extra Volume Shampoo, put a quarter-sized dollop of Big Sexy Extra Volume Conditioner in the palm of your hand. Run together gently then whorl through hair, especially the ends. Try not to saturate your scalp with the conditioner, because that can weigh the roots down. Leave in just a minute or two, then rinse well and wrap turban-style in a towel.

If you have the time, try the old Sixties way of setting your hair-- on empty frozen orange juice cans. Really-- that's how they used to get those amazing 'That Girl' type flips styles, you know. Before rolling each can-full, work some Big Sexy Volumizing Gel into the hair. This'll make it set firmer and keep your style longer, too.

Once your juice-can rolled hair is dry, remove the cans and do not brush or comb yet. Flip head upside-down and work fingers easily through hair. Then, while still upside-down, spray Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play Volumizing HairSpray all over. Flip head back and forth a few times and voila! Big Sexy Hair!
